Dougie Poynter
Dougie Lee Poynter (born 30 November, 1987) is the bassist of the British pop rock band McFly.
His musical career started in a punk band called Ataiz. In late summer 2003, Universal advertised in NME, looking for both, a drummer and a bassist, for a new pop-punk act. Dougie successfully applied and became the bass player in McFly along with Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Harry Judd.
